Experienced Nurse Injector

Mirnesa Tikvina

Bio

Mirnesa has 12 years of experience providing nursing care to patients in multiple states, at Virginia Center for Plastic Surgery she offers the latest and most advanced aesthetic nonsurgical treatments to our patients.

Mirnesa began her nursing career working in post-surgical units and emergency care with several prominent Connecticut medical institutions, including Yale New Haven Hospital and Hartford Hospital. She then worked with Inova Health Systems, Plastic and Dermatology offices, George Washington University and Shenandoah University in Virginia, where she focused on nursing care and nursing education.

Mirnesa offers the latest and most advanced aesthetic nonsurgical treatments to our patients. Throughout her career, Mirnesa has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care and has stayed current on the latest advances in the aesthetic specialty, she is focused on non-invasive facial aesthetic procedures including; Dermal fillers (Juvederm, Galderma, Revance), Neurotoxin injectables (Botox, Dysport) and Sculptra (Biostimulator).

Sonia Tipan

Bio

Sonia is a graduate of one of Virginia's top Esthetics Institutes and has hundreds of hours in continuing education in the Aesthetics field. In 2017, she set out to obtain her Virginia Master Esthetician's License and has honed her skills through various comprehensive training programs offered by the industry's most respected laser and medical grade skincare companies in the US. This dedication to ongoing education allows Sonia to provide patients with a diverse array of advanced aesthetic treatments tailored to their unique needs.

Sonia's repertoire encompasses a wide range of in-demand procedures, including:

Patient Care Coordinator

Olga Ponce

Bio

With 20 years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator for Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics, she holds a nursing degree from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. She has also worked in the private educational sector as a Health Educator. Her career in the esthetic medicine field began with a CMI Certificate as a Bilingual Medical Interpreter from the National Board Of Medical Interpreters in 2006. In addition, she has undergone numerous trainings in patient care coordination with institutions like the Conversion Club and Yellow Telescope.

Olga hails from a military family and served in the Air Force ROTC at Saint Angelo State University in TX. She is married to a Navy veteran and has a daughter, two stepchildren, and an adorable cat named Luna.

Olga's mission at VCPS is to ensure each patient is fully informed about the services we provide. For her patients, her goal is to assure them that they will be fully taken care of while alleviating any concerns a patient may have.

Gina Buggé

Bio

Gina has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She started as a front desk receptionist in a primary care office and advanced her skills in insurance and medical billing at a dermatologist's office. She has spent the last 5 years managing Dr. Desman’s practice, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to ensure that each patient's journey is smooth. In her spare time, Gina is a devoted mother who enjoys shopping and doing arts and crafts with her daughter.
